About the Breeder:
My name is Hannah and I am a Senior in high school. I first became interested in rabbits and 4-H when I was in fourth grade. I have loved them ever since! My first rabbit was a Mini Lop named "Mr. Carrot" (above). I have since had several different breeds: a Chestnut Holland Lop, a Black Holland Lop, a Ruby Eyed White Jersey Wooly, and, of course, Mini Satins.
About three years ago, I became interested in Mini Satins. My former 4-H leader, Shelly (Fernwood Rabbitry), introduced them to me when I showed an intrest in breeding. I immediately fell in love with them! Mini Satins are extremely sweet. I love their soft fur, hence the name "Mini Satin".
I was having a difficult time choosing a name for my rabbitry when my mom suggested the name "Sixth Day Rabbitry". I loved it! It seemed very appropriate for a rabbitry because rabbits were created on the sixth day of Creation.
I am currently pursuing breeding and loving it! I am also a Teen Leader in my 4-H club (Greensleeves). It is a lot of fun watching kids learn more about showing rabbits and as some pursue their own breeding business.
